About Me

Turkey Alzahrani, Ph.D. from the University of Kansas, is assistant professor at the Department of Special Education at Jouf University. His main areas of research interests include evidence-based practices, reading instruction, technology-based solutions, and utilizing artificial intelligence within educational classrooms. He formerly worked at a consultant and full-time researcher in the Center for Evaluation, Measurement, and Accreditation at the Education and Training Evaluation Commission. He also worked as a Writing Consultant at the University of Kansas’ Writing Center and INTO English Institute. While working as a writing consultant, he had delivered and facilitated over 30 workshops and presentations that focused on improving and enhancing writing skills. In addition to the previous experiences, Turkey has been a passionate English editor since 2014. With all the aforementioned knowledge and expertise, heenjoys editing others’ papers because it can empower them to improve their writing-related skills and knowledge.
